We are thrilled that you are considering us for your conference needs!

In addition to setting up lodging for your delegation, please make sure to register as soon as possible in order to acquire the best registration rates! We can begin to give your team committee assignments as soon as we receive payment!

Regarding lodging, we have made partnerships with both the Delta Hotels by Marriott Richmond Downtown, as well as the HI Richmond Hostel this year! Marriott will have a rate of $151 per room (down from $200+) and is located <2 miles away from our conference. They will able to provide complimentary shuttle service to GSMUN. We've also been able to negotiate a variety of prices with the HI Richmond Hostel, including a private double bed room rate of $77 per night. They are located 1.8 miles, or about 10 minutes by car, from our conference. To reserve a room with Marriott with our discounted rate, you can call 844-781-7397 and request the Model UN group rate, or visit https://www.marriott.com/events/start.mi?id=1544734413021&key=GRP. For the HI Richmond Hostel, you can reserve a 6-Bed Dorm Room, Private Double Room, Private Queen Ensuite Rooms, or Private Queen (w/ Bunk Bed) Ensuite Room by calling 804-729-5409 or emailing gm.richmond@hiusa.org and requesting the Model UN group rate.

For our delegations that will need flight accommodations: unfortunately, our conference does not have an airline sponsor, but I recommend finding a route directly to the Richmond International Airport (RIC), with only a 20 minute drive from the airport to our conference. This route may not be readily available on the weeks leading up to GSMUN, so I recommend choosing the Dulles International Airport (IAD) as a destination - a drive to Richmond from here would be about 1.5 hours.

If you would like any more clarification about our conference, or inquiries about specific lodging/transportation arrangements, please do not hesitate to reach out to me at gsmun.secgen@gmail.com!
